Recently the idea of a crowd-sourced incubation platform has been kicking around.  As a result, with several naming ideas in mind, uncubate was picked as the best way to convey the idea of a non-traditional way to help startups & small ventures grow into larger ones.

There are traditional business incubators & accelerators, and they work well.  But they are exclusive by design, and cannot serve all of the people who are looking for help in developing their businesses.
